Safety Program Operations #OKfire


National Fire Academy Regional 6-Day Course
Safety Program Operations (N822)
OSU Fire Service TrainingOklahoma Council on Firefighter Training,TRADE Region 6 and the Oklahoma City Fire Department are sponsoring Safety Program Operations, April 8-13, 2013 at the Oklahoma City Fire Department Training Center.  This 6-day course provides knowledge and practice, in the context of current issues, to develop strategies of risk management associated with the provision of firefighting and EMS services to reduce firefighter fatalities and injuries.  A focus is placed on using the risk management model to the health and safety aspects of emergency services operations, current regulations, standards, policies, and responsibilities for program management, day-to-day operations and incident safety.  The course is designed for any officers who have department level health and safety responsibilities.
Course Date: February 2 & 3, 2013
Class Time: 8:00 am-5:00 pm both days
Location: OKC Fire Department Training Center, 800 N. Portland St.  Oklahoma City OK
This course requires the submission of a FEMA Form 119-25-1 General Application Form to OSU Fire Service Training.  The form is available on the National Fire Academy website located by clicking here.  The application must be received by OSU FST by February 22.
